A quick word about last night’s presidential debate:

The lies that Donald Trump peddled about violence and drugs streaming across the border and into our cities are wholly unsupported by the facts and are deeply dangerous for Latino communities throughout the country.

Trump made it clear that, if he retakes the White House, he will subject Latinos to a police state and mass roundups as part of the largest deportation effort in our country’s history. In the past, Trump has talked a lot about the border wall. But he doesn’t see that there’s another wall – a wall of Latino voters, who can and will keep him from the Oval Office.

Over 4 million young Latino voters will become eligible to vote by Election Day and these young people overwhelmingly support progressive politics. If they cast a ballot against Trump, they can protect and save our democracy. They can stop Trump. This is our mission in 2024.

We are working in states across the country to register and mobilize these young progressive voters ahead of November.
