Hi John!
We're knee-deep in election season, with almost 100 days until Election Day. If you're like me, your anxiety might be at an all-time high. The ads, constant news coverage, and upcoming debates can make this time exciting and exhausting.
As a Black woman, this period feels particularly intense. From voter suppression to attacks on reproductive rights, navigating this season can be challenging. But remember, it’s not just about getting through; it’s about sustaining our well-being. That’s why When We All Vote has teamed up with Headspace [[link removed]] to help voters manage their mental health throughout the 2024 election season. Click here to check out some of our resources designed to ease anxiety and help manage stress during this election and beyond [[link removed]].
Now, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the things that have brought me joy throughout June:
✅ When We All Vote and the NBA [[link removed]] teamed up during the NBA finals to ensure you and your #VotingSquad are prepared for the 2024 election season.
✅ Our team brought voting to Roots Picnic [[link removed]] and Blavity House Party Music Festival [[link removed]], two of the biggest music events of the summer. And we’re not done yet. Next stop: Essence Festival!
✅ Last month, I hoped the Boston Celtics 🍀would make the NBA Finals — and this month, they are NBA Champs [[link removed]]! 🏆
✅ Our amazing volunteers hosted voter registration drives for Juneteenth [[link removed]] and Pride Month [[link removed]]. And we dropped voting swag for the occasion. Check it out here: [[link removed]]!
