John,
Trump just wrapped up his rally in Virginia a bit ago. He’s as vindictive as ever and made it clear that he hasn't forgotten about his hatred or grudge against Eugene for blowing the whistle on him.
On the stage, Trump rallied his supporters against Eugene and attacked him. Take a listen to what he said:
"When speaking about Eugene’s opponent, Derrick Anderson, Trump said "He’s running against one of the Vindman twins...These are the worst people. They reported a false conversation. They made up a story about a certain conversation" and said to Anderson "We’re gonna fight for you. You got to win that race. You got to teach the Vindmans. We got to get them out."
Here’s the deal, John. As you read this email, Trump supporters and MAGA extremists are pouring resources into our opponent's campaigns — the kind of resources only Trump can drive — to get Eugene out of this race. But we won’t let them succeed.

This race just became much more difficult. With this seat being a toss-up, Trump’s visit could have a huge effect on its outcome.
So with Eugene’s first FEC deadline of the general election in just two days, we can't wait to respond. We have to be ready for anything — whatever Trump's impact on this race is — and we have to beat it. But we can’t do it without your support.
