I’m reaching out because we’ve just had a major campaign setback, and I’m really hoping you can help us turn things around.

For context, Republican Larry Hogan is already up on the air running misleading TV ads that deceive voters about his record.

Marylanders need to hear the truth about Hogan, which is why we’ve set an ambitious $500,000 End-of-Quarter FEC deadline goal so we have the resources to get our own general election ads up and running.

But I just took a look at our ActBlue, and we’re way behind where we should be at this point in the month. We need to raise an additional $15,000 by midnight or there is simply no way we can hit our goal before our FEC deadline.

Can I count on you to pitch in a grassroots donation of just $25 split between my campaign and Johnny O ASAP? If everyone reading this email chipped in before closing out, we could put ourselves back on track before midnight.
