Democrats are only as strong as our most vulnerable incumbents
John,
On November 5th, 2024, we’ve got a real shot at flipping the House blue. But we can’t do it unless we defend our most vulnerable incumbents. Here in California, that means protecting my good friend Josh Harder.
Josh is facing one of toughest races of any Democratic incumbent in the state. In his primary, he won 49.7% of the vote—and the remaining 50.3% went to Republican candidates. Now, a recent poll has Josh down 4 points to his GOP opponent.
Like me, Josh doesn’t take a cent from corporate PACs. He never has. And like me, he’s a leader in the fight to get corporate special interests out of Congress because he supports banning corporate PACs completely.
But he won’t be able to keep up that fight if he loses in November.
That’s why I’m asking you to consider splitting a donation of $5 between Josh’s campaign and my organization, Truth to Power, today.

We can’t flip the House without holding onto tough seats like this one. The math just doesn’t work out. But Republicans have set their sights on Josh—and their corporate backers are already getting ready to spend serious money to try and flip this seat red.
On Sunday at midnight, Josh has a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. The good news is that if he can hit his fundraising goal before then, he’ll be in good shape to fight back. And if we hold this seat, then our odds of flipping the House go way up.
So, is there anything you can give?

Thanks so much for your help. I deeply appreciate it.
