BREAKING: The Supreme Court allowed emergency health care to continue in states with abortion bans.
Anti-choice extremists will continue to try all avenues to attack our rights. Working together, we can stop them.
John,
The U.S. Supreme Court decided yesterday that emergency health care (including lifesaving abortion care) could continue in states with total abortion bans.
But here's the thing: This ruling is only a stopgap. This fight will continue in lower courts — and it should never have even gotten that far!
We know Republicans will try anything to restrict our reproductive freedom, and this ruling won't stop them on their mission.
We know that denying abortion care in medical emergencies means more women dying while doctors watch helplessly. (And that this was the Republicans' plan all along.)
We know the majority of Americans are pro-choice.
And most importantly, when choice is on the ballot, choice wins every time.
So our task now is to get anti-choice extremists out of office everywhere.
