The end of June marks an exciting moment to reflect and celebrate our shared achievements. With your support, we’ve made significant strides so far this year toward winning justice for Black people.

As part of the Coalition for Free and Fair Filing, Color Of Change advocated for wider availability of the IRS Direct File platform, empowering millions of taxpayers to bypass predatory tax prep companies and their exorbitant fees.

On Juneteenth, Color Of Change seized the opportunity to fight back against neo-segregationists’ attempts to whitewash Black history, undermine our civil rights and restore Jim Crow-era privileges for white people.

As June closes out, our programs team is leading our return to the ESSENCE Festival of Culture next month in New Orleans as hosts of “Black Women’s Brunch: Preserving, Honoring & Celebrating Black HERStory” to build community power.
