John, serving as Pennsylvania’s Governor is a remarkable honor and privilege — and it’s something I’ll never take for granted.
That’s why I’m so proud of the real achievements we’ve accomplished together for the people of Pennsylvania. Whether it’s enacting universal free breakfast for all K-12 public school students, creating good-paying jobs that don’t require a college degree, or delivering the largest targeted tax cut for seniors in nearly two decades, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the progress our Commonwealth has made.
But I also know there’s still so much more work to be done. We still need to raise our minimum wage from $7.25 an hour. We need to create even more economic opportunity across the Commonwealth. And we need to continue defending real freedom in every corner of Pennsylvania.
John, everything I’m working for is done in the service of hard-working Pennsylvanians. But I’m not naive. I know this battle won’t be easy — especially with extreme, right-wing politicians continuing to attack our most fundamental rights.
