** Last chance to complete the Women2Women Census **
Hi John,
We wanted to reach out and make sure you had one last chance to complete the Women2Women Census. This census will enable us to gather and share the resources that are most relevant to you and your loved ones.
Since the 2016 election, we’ve been joining together in the face of an uncertain future to support each other and fight for the change we need. In order to effectively help in these challenging times, we’re asking you to tell us what’s most important to you, what ideas you have, and how you can contribute.
The Women2Women Census will help facilitate meaningful ways for us to connect and support each other, while also making sure the world we create after COVID-19 is better and more inclusive than the one we left behind. Over 8,400 people have filled out the Women2Women census already, and we’re hoping to reach 10,000 by the end of this weekend!
John, Women’s March was born in response to a crisis.
The day after the 2016 election, a small group of women put out a call to action when we needed it – and it reverberated across the globe.
Now we’re in another crisis of unprecedented proportions, and we need each other and bold ideas more than ever. That’s why Women’s March is working hard to create meaningful ways for us to connect and support each other, but also make sure that the world we are building post-COVID is better than the one we left behind.
In order to do that most effectively, we need to know more about you, how you’re being impacted by this crisis, and your ideas. We’re launching the Women2Women Census to find out who is out of work, who is caring for children or sick family members, and more so that we can better serve your needs. We also want to know what skills, hobbies, and ideas you are able to contribute right now.
Once we know how people are being impacted, we’ll be better able to provide resources, coordinate support groups, and lobby collectively for the relief efforts that will have the greatest impact for you and your family.
Our vision is to connect and coordinate local support so that we can help those in need and organize people with similar interests to join together.
We’ve seen in the past that moments of crisis are often catalysts for radical change. It’s up to all of us to envision and fight for the world we want to create after this pandemic – and to make sure it’s more just and equal.
The well-being and safety of everyone is the utmost concern of Women’s March during this crisis.
This is a difficult time for many. That’s why we’re only asking you to donate if you can afford to do so. We want you to take care of your loved ones first.
Women’s March is a 501c(4) organization. Your generous support helps us prepare for fights we see coming and those we don’t. Donations are not tax deductible. If you prefer to make a tax-deductible gift, we encourage you to support the Women’s March Network. Gifts to the Network support our organizing, communications, advocacy and public education efforts.
