Americares is responding to the escalating crisis in Gaza and surrounding areas. Nearly 1 million people have fled the city of Rafah in southern Gaza since fighting intensified last month. People are sheltering in makeshift tents without access to clean water and adequate sanitation. Children and families urgently need your help as the situation grows more dire.

Your gift will support mobile medical teams providing urgent care in shelters in southern Gaza. It will also help children recently evacuated from Gaza who are receiving medical treatment in Egypt by providing hygiene kits, clothing and mental health support for both children and caregivers dealing with the trauma of war.

In Lebanon, where the escalation of violence has killed hundreds and displaced more than 90,000 people, your support is providing critical funding to equip mobile medical units, establish a specialized burn unit and increase emergency response capacity.

This vital humanitarian aid would not be possible without your support. Thanks to you, we’ve been able to send 19 tons of essential medicines and medical supplies to Gaza – and the real human impact of your support is immeasurable. But our work is far from over.
