John,As you know, Connecticut's Second Congressional District has long been contested and targeted by Republicans.
With your support, Joe’s made significant progress for eastern Connecticut and the nation: capping the cost of insulin and other prescription drugs for Medicare, increasing funding for rural and veteran health care, and growing jobs at an historic pace. In 2023, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the Norwich-New London job market was the fastest growing in Connecticut.
Thanks to Joe's work as both Chair and Ranking Member of the Seapower Subcommittee, Electric Boat shipyard added 5,300 new workers in 2023 and is on pace to double that number in 2024.
