John,
I went on FOX News this morning to set the record straight on last night’s debate.
I’ve governed under both Donald Trump and President Biden — this election is not theoretical for me.
President Biden delivers. He cares about my constituents. He calls me to make sure we have what we need when we face flooding or other emergencies.
President Trump is incapable of governing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he pitted states against each other to fight over ventilators and told Americans to drink bleach.
Look, I’ll admit, Donald Trump was clear about a few things last night: He was clear that he’s the one who ripped away women’s reproductive rights. He was clear that he’s the one defending January 6 insurrectionists. And he was clear that he’s the one who refuses to commit to accepting the results of this November’s election.
John, I’d take the steady leadership of Joe Biden on his worst day than four more years of Donald Trump at his best. We simply cannot afford to let him flip Minnesota red and retake the White House this November.
With the Trump campaign gearing up to blanket our state in lies and misinformation, it’s essential we raise the $17,329 we need to reach our budget target by Sunday’s end-of-quarter deadline.
We need to keep moving forward. Will you pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you right now to help us close the gap, keep Minnesota blue, and keep Trump out of the White House this November?

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
