The NRCC has just placed a $6,060,000 ad buy in our media market. That can pay for a LOT of attack ads against me, and we’re at real risk of being drowned out.

Worse, I just checked in with Jennifer, my finance director, and they let me know we’re behind on our quarterly fundraising goal — with only 48 hours to go before the deadline.

I’m racing to raise the money to catch up to our goal and fight back against this massive GOP ad buy, but truthfully, I need your help to get the job done. Can I count on you to rush a contribution before this weekend’s FEC deadline?

The NRCC’s $6 million ad reservation is the biggest they’ve placed in any media market, by several million dollars. It’s an eye-popping figure, one that confirms that they see Oregon as their best path to keeping their razor-thin House majority. They’re going to do whatever it takes to flip OR-06 red.

After Sunday’s deadline, all our fundraising numbers become public for everyone to scrutinize, including the MAGA super PACs targeting this seat. So candidly, I really can’t think of a worse time for us to miss our fundraising goal and publish a report that shows our numbers are down — because that would only embolden our opponents to spend more.

Our ability to retake the House, defeat a national abortion ban, and defend our democracy could all come down to this district and all eyes are on us to show that we’re up to the task.
