Climate Justice

Dealing with the climate crisis will require listening to those most impacted, and in this week’s Climate Justice newsletter, we turn to communities for answers. First, as a country situated between developing and developed, Turkey may lead the way for renewable energy in Europe. Next, by supporting workers in the Global South, philanthropy supports democracy too. Then, Meals on Wheels was not formed to be a climate organization, but the nonprofit can serve as an example of climate disaster response. Finally, in honor of Pride Month, the NPQ team is sharing a collection of stories we’ve published to uplift LGBTQ+ voices and powerful contributions to history, society, and cultures worldwide.
