Joe Biden’s Surgeon General just declared YOUR constitutional right to keep and bear arms to be a “public health crisis.”

Never before in history has the U.S. Surgeon General issued an advisory on firearms. He’s calling for:

Firearm carry bans
Gun confiscation laws
“Assault weapon” bans
Magazine capacity limits
Storage requirements
Gun registrations

…And all in the name of protecting “public health.”

This is how Republics die and tyrannies are born. The Biden Administration is once again abusing its executive powers to bypass Congress and violate the Constitution in order to wage war on the Second Amendment.

That’s why GOA is calling on Congress to take IMMEDIATE ACTION to put a bullet in the Biden Administration’s tyrannical plot to use “public health emergency powers” to restrict your constitutional rights.

Please add your name to our pre-written letter urging both chambers of Congress to protect our constitutional rights by stopping this Surgeon General Advisory from being expanded into a full blown Public Health Emergency AND to DEFUND this advisory so that Biden doesn’t have even a penny to enforce it.

When Biden’s Surgeon General was first nominated, he told the Senate, under penalty of perjury, that his focus would “not” be on gun control.

But of course, tyrants who believe they have the power to rob you of your rights are never going to care about telling the truth.

Gun Owners of America saw right through his lies in 2021 and warned every single Senator, that if confirmed, Biden’s Surgeon General would abuse his powers to advance gun control.

Sadly, seven allegedly “pro-gun” Republican Senators refused to listen to our warning and voted to confirm Biden’s Surgeon General, giving Biden free rein to use “public health emergency powers” to assault the Second Amendment.

In fact, this is not even the first time anti-gunners have tried to use “public health” as an excuse to trample on our rights.

Not only did we see anti-gunners abuse COVID to curb your ability to exercise the Second Amendment, but just last year, the governor of New Mexico declared a “public health emergency” to SUSPEND the rights of her citizens to publicly carry firearms.

And within 24 hours, GOA fought back against the New Mexico governor’s tyrannical power grab by filing a lawsuit against the ban in federal court – and secured a temporary restraining order against her executive overreach.

Now, we’re ready to fight this latest attempt by anti-gunners to manufacture a “crisis” in order to gut the Second Amendment.

But we’re going to need YOUR help alerting every single member of the House and Senate to halt the Surgeon General Advisory and DEFUND it.
