This is one of the most competitive seats in the entire country, and we have to win it for us to even have a chance of flipping the House blue. I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this deadline matters so much:

You see, our fundraising numbers will be made public. That includes how much money we've raised and how many individual donors have contributed.

It's a chance to show everyone, from the media to our opponents, just how strong our campaign is right now. And you better believe that Mike Johnson’s corporate donor network will pore over our report to look for any sign of vulnerability they can exploit.

Our campaign finance system is fundamentally broken, which is why we're building our campaign the right way, without any contributions from corporate PACs. So, the only chance we have to file a strong report to the FEC is if a whole lot of folks like you step up before tomorrow's deadline.
