I came home to this mailer from the “Concerned Taxpayers of Washington” PAC. It seems what they were “concerned” about was my identity, not the issues facing our state.

And it’s no accident that they made the word “straight” RED, BOLD, AND UNDERLINED when attacking the first queer woman elected to the WA State Senate.

But thanks to supporters like you, their millions of dollars didn’t work. I won that race, and I’ll win this one, too!

I’m a working-class queer Latina who worked at Planned Parenthood. I know that MAGA Republicans and their outside groups will throw everything they can at me. I need your help to make sure our POSITIVE message isn’t drowned out by disgusting attacks like this one.
