Dear John,

As someone who enjoys the National Constitution Center’s resources and programs, like our America’s Town Hall series, you appreciate the importance of thoughtful discussion on the constitutional topics that shape our lives and understanding of what it means to be an American.

Our programming and educational resources are free to all because we believe everyone deserves access to quality nonpartisan civic education and the tools to engage in civil dialogue—but our work is only possible through support from people like you. Your gift today will help us continue to model how to disagree without being disagreeable, and empower learners of all ages to explore the past, present, and future of the American experiment.

MAKE A GIFT

As America’s 250th birthday approaches, we have a unique opportunity to take public interest in America’s founding documents and spark curiosity around the fundamental freedoms that unite us all. And as America’s leading platform for nonpartisan constitutional education and civil dialogue, the National Constitution Center is uniquely prepared to meet this need—but we can’t do it without your help.

With your support, we can host special programs and events that bring communities together to engage with our founding principles and inspire civic renewal. Meanwhile, America’s Town Hall and our weekly We the People podcasts will continue to model reasoned debate on the events that shape our public discourse.

Thoughtful dialogue begins with a thorough grounding in civic knowledge, and our balanced, apolitical approach to constitutional education makes us a trusted resource for hundreds of thousands of students, teachers, and adult learners each year. We give students the tools they need to start thinking like scholars as they separate their political views from their constitutional views, and instructors the confidence to guide classroom discussions on these topics.

This September, we’re launching a student-facing version of our online high school Constitution 101 core curriculum in partnership with Khan Academy, America’s leading provider of free online education, which reaches millions of learners. With the help of supporters like you, we will augment these resources in the months to come with a new civic toolkit, anchored by an Interactive Declaration of Independence that can spark engagement with our founding documents and the ideas they embody. You’ll also help support the development of a new America’s founding exhibit that will provide in-person and virtual visitors to the Center with an understanding of our nation’s origins just in time for 2026.

Please make your gift today and join our nationwide movement to solve America’s civics crisis and change civic dispositions for the better. Together, we can ensure America’s 250th anniversary is a celebration of our shared history and values and inspire learning journeys that will last a lifetime.

Sincerely,
