Last night, we saw how important it is that we hold on to the White House and take back the House of Representatives.

Donald Trump spent the night lying.  He was vicious and selfish.  He refused to answer whether he would respect the results of the election.  He called overturning Roe v. Wade—a decision that has been devastating for Texans—a “great thing.”  And he blamed others for the assault on our country and our Constitution on January 6 that he made happen.  We deserve so much better.

As we look to November, we know how important it is that we take back the House.  And we are confident that we can.  We did it in 2018 right here in TX-07.  And with people like us working together, there is nothing we can’t do.

We also know what we do takes money.  The FEC deadline is the day after tomorrow and we’ve been checking in on our fundraising numbers to ensure we’re on track to our Q2 goal.

We’re encouraged by the strong support we’ve received this month.  We’re making great progress toward our goal and it’s a testament to you, your support, and the coalition we’ve built over the past three elections.

We need to keep up our momentum through the deadline.  Will you give $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can before Sunday?

With voting starting in less than four months, we must do everything we can to re-elect Lizzie.  Lizzie will do all she can, with our help, to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, here in Texas and in House races across the country.  The resources we raise now shape the campaign we can run, the work we can do, and the outcome on Election Day 2024.
