John, I have two major election alerts to share, and since you're one of our most dedicated supporters, I wanted you to hear it straight from me as Chris' campaign manager.

Please chip in $5 or whatever you can spare and l promise I'll explain everything below.

On top of holding the Trump administration accountable, Chris is finding solutions to some of our country's most pressing issues: the opioid epidemic, the climate crisis, the scourge of gun violence, and the rising costs of prescription drugs.

Now more than ever, we need Chris' progressive, pragmatic leadership in the Senate. But national Republicans want nothing more than to defeat Chris so they can keep their power.

As we inch closer to November, here are two things you need to know about this race:

1. Two Republican opponents have announced they're challenging Chris. Multiple challengers have already filed with the FEC, and when the dust is settled, a flood of money from national Republicans is sure to follow.

2. Flipping the Senate comes down to protecting Democratic incumbents like Chris. We all know it -- but so do President Trump, Mitch McConnell, and their vast network of right-wing donors. They'll do everything they can to elect a rubber stamp for their agenda.

That's why I'm making sure everyone who supports Chris is focused and committed to doing everything they can to help him win re-election. That starts with adding a donation of $5 or more to our Take Back the Senate fund.

Every dollar you give will get us one step closer to our goal, so we'll have the resources we need to defend ourselves against our Trump Republican opponents.

Thank you,

Christy Gleason
