Hi John –

We have just about four months to go until Election Day 2024 is here. While I’m not on the ballot this fall, I’m going to be out campaigning just like I am. Maybe even harder.

Here’s what’s at stake:

• We’ve got great Democrats running for the U.S. House across the state who need our help. With just a couple of seats flipping, we could take back the majority. That’s why I’m excited to be out campaigning for my friends Rep. Angie Craig, Kelly Morrison in the west Metro, Jen Schultz up north, and Rachel Bohman in Southern Minnesota.
• The majority in the State House is up for grabs. Losing it would mean a stop to the progress that Democrats have been able to make in Minnesota with the trifecta. There are also hundreds of local races on the ballot that will determine who’s in charge in cities, counties, and school districts across the state.
• Finally, and certainly most important, the fate of our country is at stake in the Presidential Election. I am excited to vote for Joe Biden. Even if you aren’t, there’s too much at stake to mess around. Trump is an insurrectionist, a liar, a felon, a rapist, and admires brutal dictators like Putin and Kim Jong Un. Beyond that he’s not mentally fit to run an Arby’s much less an entire country. Take a look.

All of this goes to say Democrats are counting on you to help us win this year.

We need you voting, door knocking, phone calling, having difficult conversations with family members, and donating to make sure we win.

If you haven’t already, you can start now by donating to keep me crisscrossing the state to elect Democrats day in and day out from now until the polls close on November 5th.
