John, we recently asked you and all IRC supporters to share a personal message of thanks with the IRC's team of humanitarian aid workers in Ukraine. We received an outpouring of support.
Nearly 1,300 supporters wrote in with messages–some a simple thanks, others, a heartfelt memory or inspiring note of encouragement. We were so grateful to pass these messages along to our team (IRC Global Communications Europe/Ukraine).
I wanted to email you today to say thank you. Your messages really moved us. And I wanted to share just a few of the many beautiful messages we received:
💛 Thank you for all you're doing to help those in need. The work is heartbreaking and takes a toll on you, but know that we're behind you all the way and are grateful for your selflessness! Thank you for turning my donations into the help that's so desperately needed.
💛 Thank you for your work with IRC. Of all the organizations I support, I am most enthusiastic about IRC. Your work is incredibly important and needed. Thanks for being there on behalf of all of us who cherish your helping of refugees.
💛 To all IRC workers everywhere...you are the best and brightest and we follow your work and are thankful for your dedication and perseverance as you make an important difference in the lives of everyone you touch. Take care of yourselves because without you there is no IRC. Hugs and love to all for strength and courage...

The IRC's Child Protection team (Tetiana, Andrii and Marharyta are pictured here) provides psychological and social support services to children in the remote villages and towns of the Kharkiv region in Ukraine.
Never for a moment do we take for granted your support for our humanitarian response efforts. I know that our colleagues working in Ukraine, and the people they serve, feel the same.
Thank you for taking the time to help lift their spirits.
–Andrea @ IRC
