While my opponent was trying to imprison doctors who perform safe abortions, my campaign was propelling an initiative to secure reproductive freedom for millions of Michiganders.
 
The state initiative passed, but federally, our fight is dire — not only is your right to choose at risk, but IVF and birth control are under attack by Rep. Jack Bergman.

In 2022, at nearly every campaign event, we hosted petition canvassers for Michigan's Prop. 3, a proposal to establish reproductive freedom in our constitution.

While Michigan secured freedoms, nationally, the Dobb's decision took America backward.

Our granddaughters should not have to fight the battles our grandmothers already won, and you should decide with your medical provider how, when, and if to start a family.

This is the fight for our freedoms. 

The right to choose is a fundamental American liberty, and we must restore Roe across the nation. Banning abortion doesn't reduce abortion; it makes it dangerous.
