John,
We're fighting to save this innocent Christian's life, but his hearing continues to be delayed. He's running out of time.
Shahzad Masih was only 16 years old – literally still a kid – when he was accused of blasphemy and arrested in Pakistan.
Even the authorities admitted he'd committed no crime. Yet despite the lack of evidence against him, the judge sentenced Shahzad to hang for his Christian faith.
Imagine if he were your son.
We petitioned Pakistan's High Court to expedite his appeal hearing, and it agreed to hear his case as soon as May 2. But that date has come and gone, and his appeal has been repeatedly postponed.
Justice delayed is justice denied, and we've been working tirelessly through our office in Pakistan to get this injustice overturned. We've appeared before the United Nations to urge international pressure on Pakistan to reverse this death sentence and set him free.
Shahzad's life is on the line. We will not stop fighting until he is free.
But we need YOU. Take action with us before it is too late.
Sign NOW: Don't Let Them Hang Shahzad.
