Are you with us? No images? Click here John, Since before I was born, Washington Conservation Action has been dedicated to making Washington a national leader on the environment. A lot of this work happens in Olympia, in the halls of the legislature. But as Digital Field Manager, I see a different side of the work – I help residents from everywhere in Washington turn their passion for the environment and their communities into action. This year, it’s more important than ever. The future is in all of our hands. John, will you be one of 25 new monthly donors by Friday? Just $10 each month makes a big difference. We’re reaching out for support this month so we have the resources to amplify the need for climate action, from now through Election Day. People power has always been central to our work. Over the years, WCA has led rallies to protest and defeat oil terminals, organized volunteers to reach out to hundreds of thousands of voters through door knocking and phone calls, and supported grassroots campaigns to fight for a cleaner Puget Sound. This year, we launched an Ambassador Program to create a space for our most committed volunteers to level up their organizing skills and their impact. And our Call 4 Climate Action campaign is well underway, striving to reach 50,000 new or infrequent voters by November. I’m proud to be part of this chapter of WCA’s people-powered work. Our ability to organize digitally means our movement can be bigger and more inclusive than ever before, and the energy and commitment I see every day from people all over the state gives me so much hope. In solidarity, Sonia Hitchcock, Digital Field Manager ![]() |
