John -
When I announced I was running for Senate, I made a promise that I wouldn’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. Some said that decision would hurt our ability to raise the money it would take to win.
But then, seconds after our announcement, Vicki, a database administrator from Tucson made a $3 contribution to our campaign. Moments later, Carolyn, an artist from Bisbee, Arizona donated $50 more.
And just like that … we took off. And since that day we have raised more money from small-dollar donors than almost anyone running for Senate this cycle.
But now we face our biggest challenge since launch, and I need your help. Because we can’t come up short.
Senate Republicans just pledged to spend almost $6 million more to defeat our campaign. And our only chance to fight back is people like Vicki, and Carolyn, and you pitching in $3 at a time. So I am asking:
You should be very proud of the way we are funding this campaign. When we launched, I could have never imagined the small-dollar support we’ve received since that day. But we have to keep going. It’s how we’ll win come November.
All my best,
Mark Kelly
