This month we welcomed our second class of Balint Organizing Corps Fellows, a paid program for Vermont youth, which we started in order to out-organize Republican extremists at home, and nationally. These Vermonters are future candidates, staff, and progressive leaders. It is your financial support that made this program a reality.
In Congress, Becca is persistent in working to find common ground, even with Republicans she vehemently disagrees with. Vermonters sent her to Washington to do the work, and she takes that seriously. She has introduced legislation to build more affordable housing, provide greater access to mental health care, and to limit the influence of big money in politics. But she is also doing everything she can to support candidates in tough races, build the bench of leaders in Vermont, and ensure that we elect local people who share our values.
This work takes time, money, and energy, but this is how we win during this election cycle, and every election cycle to come. One dollar at a time, one person at a time.
