Dear Friend,
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Our country has faced unprecedented challenges because of COVID-19.
Social distancing and the other disruptions that it has caused hasn’t been easy.
But we are beginning to see positive signs to move forward.
Our experts are telling us that by staying home and following the other guidelines, we’re slowing the spread of the virus.
New estimates and models are much more positive than they were just a week ago.
The evidence is suggesting that we are moving to flatten the curve, and this wouldn’t have been possible without all of us doing our part.
We’ve all taken unprecedented steps and made sacrifices to help our communities.
If we continue to keep this up for what will hopefully be just a little while longer, we will get through this.
We are seeing incredible cooperation between states to provide resources where they are needed most, and I am continuing to work to make sure Kentuckians have the resources that they need.
Continue to pay close attention to the updates from our experts. Keep washing your hands and stay at home as much as possible.
We’ve come a long way over the last several weeks. The strength of our families, and our communities will continue to help guide us through this.
We will continue to work together and lift each other up, and I know that we will come out of this stronger than ever before.
