For over 50 years, polluters and their allies have fought to undermine the EPA’s ability under the Clean Air Act to clean up and protect the air we breathe. Now, these MAGA Justices have disregarded the law and common sense to delay a life-saving rule and allow polluters to spew hundreds of thousands of tons of hazardous chemicals across state lines with impunity. |

This decision will make the air we breathe less safe and will make it harder to fight climate change while the lawsuit continues. It will jeopardize the health of our families and communities — especially in communities of color and low-wealth communities who are disproportionately impacted by air pollution. |

Meanwhile, MAGA members of Congress are trying to slash EPA’s funding and block similar life-saving protections from going into effect, so we are fighting those fronts as well. And we need Congress to expand and rebalance the Supreme Court with four new Justices who will enforce our environmental laws instead of attacking them.
