Tim Kaine here, reaching out to you because we’re approaching our first end-of-quarter FEC deadline after the primary. Right now, we have a major opportunity to show my opponent Hung Cao, Donald Trump, and the entire MAGA right that we have the momentum and resources to defeat them resoundingly all across Virginia in November!

That’s why I’m emailing, team. Will you split an online contribution between my re-election campaign and the Democratic Party of Virginia so we can ensure that we win across Virginia and stop the far-right extremists who want to flip us red?

Now that the general election has officially begun, Republicans are ready to put their plans into action to flip VA into the GOP column, delivering our 13 electoral votes to Trump and kicking me out of the U.S. Senate. We can’t discount the momentum and money from GOP mega-donors that will be flowing into our Commonwealth, and we can’t get complacent for a single second. Because ultimately, it’s our responsibility to stand up for Virginian values and Virginian families.

I know our Commonwealth is full of positive, forward-thinking people who want to continue our progress and stand up for democracy, equality, and one another.

But if we don’t meet our end-of-quarter fundraising goals, we risk showing my opponent, Trump, and the rest of the far right that Virginia is up for grabs.
