FIRST: Donald Trump announced his campaign to run for a second term against President Joe Biden — despite having been impeached not once but TWICE while in office.
THEN: Trump won the Republican nomination — even though a court declared him a criminal with 34 felony convictions!
NOW: The presidential debate is TONIGHT, and Trump is expected to announce his pick for vice president any day now.
This could be disastrous for the gun violence prevention movement, John. Trump's potential VP picks have shamelessly sold out to the NRA, refusing to put the safety of the American people first by voting AGAINST common-sense gun safety legislation at every turn.
