This week — the second anniversary of the rollback of 50 years of legal precedent protecting a woman’s right to choose — I am reminded why it’s so important to be on the right side of history on this: The overturning of Roe v. Wade is a matter of life or death for Americans across the country.

As extremist Republicans continue their fight across the country to strip even more Americans of their right to make their own healthcare decisions, we must stand up and fight back for what we know is right.

I’m not giving up on this fight. Sign my petition today to let extremist Republicans in Congress know you agree: Abortion should be safe and legal for all.

I have always stood up for reproductive rights and always will. I’m especially proud that Connecticut became the first state in the nation to protect abortion rights when I served as State Senate President Pro Tempore.

But Republicans have made it clear that a national abortion ban is still on the table.
