I’m sure you’re busy, so I’ll cut to the chase: Our biggest FEC fundraising deadline of the year so far is this weekend, and we can’t reach our goal without your support.

Will you please pitch in $20 (or any amount!) to help me win this swing district and flip the House majority?

Here’s why your support before this weekend’s deadline is so critical:

National Republicans have said that defeating me is one of their top priorities — because they know I’m standing in the way of their agenda to pass a national abortion ban. That’s why, if you live in KS-03, you’ve probably already seen digital ads attacking me, even though the election is a few months away.

After Sunday, our fundraising numbers from the last three months go public. If we fall short of our goal and have to put out a public report saying as much, odds are that the same extremist groups targeting me now will throw even more money behind my opponent.

But if you know me, you know I don’t back down from a tough fight. (As the only former MMA fighter in Congress, I mean that literally.) In 2018, I won a crowded primary, flipped a long-held Republican seat, and became the first LGBTQ+ Native American elected to Congress.

Since then, I’ve successfully defended this district in two extremely competitive races — and delivered results for Kansas that I’m extremely proud of: lowering the cost of insulin, codifying marriage equality into federal law, passing bipartisan legislation to reduce gun violence, and creating over 20,000 good-paying, clean-energy jobs in KS-03.

But there is so much more we need to get done — starting with reinstating abortion rights and stopping extremists from implementing a national abortion ban. The outcome of this race, right here in KS-03, will determine whether we get that chance. I’m determined not to waste it.

This grassroots team has delivered again and again, and this is one of those moments where I’m counting on folks to step up once more — because what we accomplish together in the next three days truly matters. If you could pitch in today and help us reach our goal before this weekend’s deadline, I’d be extremely grateful →
