"Supreme Court Allows, for Now, Emergency Abortions in Idaho" -The New York Times

John,

In a new ruling, the Supreme Court has reversed direction, reinstating an earlier hold that allows Idaho hospitals to perform emergency abortions under the protection of federal law.

Let’s be clear: This is only a temporary stopgap, decided on procedural grounds.

While this decision ensures women in Idaho will receive abortion care in extremely dire medical situations, our abortion rights are still unprotected, and this case may very well find its way back to the Supreme Court.

MAGA extremists are hellbent on passing a national abortion ban, and the 2024 election will have a major impact on the state of abortion rights for years to come.

As your Representative for Washington's 6th Congressional District, I’ll fight like hell against a national abortion ban and to reinstate our rights, but I’m up against an anti-abortion Republican, and I need your help ensuring we defeat him.

Will you join me in protecting abortion rights and access to reproductive care by contributing $10, $25, or whatever you can afford today?
