This week, Gavin Newsom posted a presidential
campaign video on social media and labeled it as his State of the
State, after delaying his address by 100 days. His blatant disrespect
to speak to the countless struggles of Californians in person is shameful.
After watching King Newsom’s speech, I don’t think we’re living in
the same California. He failed to mention the 40% increase in
homelessness under his rule. He failed to talk about the fear of crime
that plagues our communities. And he completely ignored Californians'
struggle just to make ends meet while he raises taxes by $18 billion
this year.
One thing was made explicitly clear in his speech: Gavin Newsom is
running for President of the United States. As if we needed more
proof, tonight is the presidential debate and Newsom is serving as
Biden’s surrogate.
As your Senate Republican Leader, I’m doing everything I can to
expose King Newsom and how he's destroyed our once beautiful
state.
California is not a model for the nation—it’s a warning.
Please help us expose Gavin Newsom to America and consider chipping
