Since I was elected to Congress, I’ve been fighting for the things that matter to us in Western PA: better roads and public transit, affordable housing, good and affordable health care (including abortion care), and your most basic rights.

But if Republicans take over the White House and the Senate in 2024 and keep control of the House, they’ll wipe away the progress we’ve made.

There will be no talk of abortion rights. No fighting against corporate price gouging. No expansion of voting rights. No defending our democracy.

But there will absolutely be more Republican attacks on women's health. There will be Republicans in leadership who embrace election deniers and insurrectionists, threatening our democracy. There will be Republicans blocking attempts to raise the minimum wage and codify the right to vote.

That’s why this end-of-quarter fundraising goal is so important. My seat is a frontline race – and that means it’s going to be one of the closest races in the country.

If we don’t hit our fundraising goals, then we don’t have the resources to fight back against my far-right opponent, the conservative billionaires, and the super PACs that are trying to unseat me.
