At the beginning of this week, we
sent an email you may have missed about how the anti-Democratic Party
is doing everything in their power to keep Jill and the Greens off the
ballot through lawsuits and challenges.
In Nevada, we worked hard to
collect over 29,000 signatures in the scorching heat – almost three
times the 10,096 required! But within 24 hours of official
certification by the Secretary of State for Jill to appear on the
ballot in Nevada, the dirty trick Dems slapped us with legal action to
try to keep Jill off the ballot. They’re making good on their threats
to sue us off the ballot everywhere and keep our time and resources
tied up in frivolous litigation.
We’ve found attorneys in Nevada who
are willing to take the case because they’re confident we’ll win. But
we need to raise $15,000 just to pay for their retainer.
The good news is that if everyone who gets this email
chipped in at least $5 today we could pay the retainer and keep our
focus on what matters most – getting Jill on the ballot all across the
nation!
