Our health care workers need more than our thanks.
They need face masks, shields, and other personal protective equipment. And even some health care workers don’t have paid sick leave.
Arati’s campaign for Congress has joined community efforts to find face masks for medical staff. And Arati’s running on providing 12 weeks of paid family leave.
We cannot keep forcing hospitals and state governments to fight each other for personal protective equipment. We need a strong federal response that protects our health care workers and listens to scientists like Arati.
