Now that schools are out for the summer, a group of top donors from
the Brighter Futures Fund has agreed to MATCH all gifts up to our
$50,000 goal to help children facing hunger during summer the
hungriest time of year

Every day, our strategic grants and partnerships are connecting more
children with the nutritious meals they need to thrive immediately,
while we continue to take important steps to end childhood hunger for
good. This work is even more urgent during the summer
months, when only 13% of children who rely on free or
reduced-price meals at school receive a summer meal.
Thanks to our successful advocacy efforts, new federal programs, which
will help families buy food and access meal delivery services have the
potential to feed more than 30 million children in the U.S. this
summer.
But now, there's a huge task at hand as we work to help schools,
community organizations and state agencies implement these critical
programs and ensure families and communities are aware of them.
