Dear Neighbor,
The humanitarian crisis on our streets needs immediate bold and urgent solutions, which is why Inside Safe has now conducted more than 50 encampment operations and brought THOUSANDS off the street throughout the city.
We are saving lives. No one deserves to live on the street and no one deserves to have someone living on the street in their neighborhood.
Since day one, we have confronted this crisis as an emergency. We launched Inside Safe with a clear mission: to urgently bring people inside, save lives and prevent encampments from returning across the City.
From finding that initial relief of having a bed to sleep in, to a permanent place to call home, Inside Safe is proving in an unprecedented way that we can end the cycle of homelessness by leading with solutions of housing with services that allow people to be healthy and thrive.

** SUSTAINED SUCCESS ON SAN VICENTE BLVD
------------------------------------------------------------
It's been more than a year since Angelenos living in an encampment in the Beverly-Grove area were housed through Inside Safe.
The sidewalks and medians between Wilshire and La Cienega have remained clear, providing relief for local businesses and neighbors.
After a year, Inside Safe is proving that there is a solution to the crisis on our streets. ([link removed])

** TAKING ACTION AND BUILDING TRUST IN SOUTH LA
------------------------------------------------------------
Keñya and Jonta ended up living on the streets after they lost their jobs. Their car had transmission issues and became their only shelter. They were sleeping in their car until someone from our Inside Safe team knocked on their window and brought them indoors.
Regardless of whether a person is living in a tent, an RV, or a car — Inside Safe will keep building trust and offering people the opportunity to bring stability to their lives.

"I feel like a regular human being." That's the hope Keñya and Jonta felt once they moved indoors after our Inside Safe team found them living in their car. ([link removed])
** ADDRESSING RVs ON FOREST LAWN DRIVE
------------------------------------------------------------
Through partnership from the City Council, the County, service providers and local businesses, Inside Safe was able to address a long stretch of more than 50 abandoned RVs ([link removed]) and makeshift car encampments on Forest Lawn Drive that had been there for years.

------------------------------------------------------------
Syed was working full time and sleeping on the streets for about 5 years near Koreatown and Hollywood. After a few months of being immediately moved indoors through Inside Safe, Syed has now transitioned into a permanent housing unit ([link removed]) — showing how we can break the cycle of homelessness with housing and services.

"I got to be more on a better path by getting me off the streets, and putting me somewhere where I can get my mind right."
