John, did you hear what happened at the Hoosier Huddle? |
Last week, Governor Eric J. Holcomb brought together state and local leaders for the Hoosier Huddle, a dynamic panel discussion centered on the Hoosier Playbook. This event highlighted how our communities can leverage state resources for growth and development. |
What Is The Hoosier Playbook? The Hoosier Playbook is Governor Holcomb’s all-encompassing guide - packed with resources designed to enhance education, boost health, advance workforce development, strengthen infrastructure, foster community growth, and ensure public safety.
What Is The Hoosier Huddle? Hoosier Huddle is a resource program where state and local officials gather to discuss the Hoosier Playbook and the benefits it will bring to local communities. |
Dr. Lindsay Weaver, Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Health, led a conversation with community health leaders about the Health First Indiana initiative. This program is transforming public health through local partnerships and data-driven solutions to enhance the well-being of Hoosiers.
Another important part of the playbook that was discussed at the huddle was Governor Holcomb’s commitment to ensuring students are ready for the careers of tomorrow. Cabinet members discussed statewide initiatives focused on preparing students for postsecondary success and workforce readiness, all to help fulfill the Governor’s Next Level Agenda.
