Convicted felon Donald Trump is in town for the presidential debate where he’ll surely lie, interrupt, and blunder through the finish.

All eyes are on Georgia heading into the November elections – and for good reason. Thanks to the hard work of Democrat activists and elected officials, we flipped Georgia blue in 2020 to elect President Biden. We know the GOP is pouring money into our state to put Republicans in office up and down the ballot in 2024.

So ahead of tonight’s debate, let’s send a message loud and clear about where Georgia stands. I’ve been working since 2018 to gather Democratic political power in the Peach State – can you donate to my reelection campaign before Sunday’s end-of-quarter fundraising deadline to show the GOP we’re committed to keeping Georgia blue?

A national abortion ban. Looser gun safety laws. Tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. Utter chaos in Washington DC. This is what we’re in for if Trump wins in November. The stakes couldn’t possibly be higher.

As a swing state, we have an outsized impact on deciding the presidential election. Results in Georgia up and down the ballot could very well mirror the final outcome of the race between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

After Sunday, I’ll need to report my Q2 fundraising numbers. Pundits use these to determine the chances for my campaign and Georgia Democrats’ in November.
