Dear John,
We’ve reached an important milestone in the Congressional primary race in Minnesota’s District 5: early voting begins tomorrow, June 28! 💃
Use our Busy Voter’s Guide to find out how to vote early in person or request a mail-in ballot. However you choose to vote, make sure to cast your ballot by Primary Election Day, August 13.
I’m thrilled to vote to re-elect Rep. Ilhan Omar to Congress for so many reasons. As a Jewish Minnesotan organizing for Ceasefire in Palestine, one of the biggest reasons on my mind right now is this:
Voting for Ilhan Omar in a landslide primary sends a message to Republican billionaires out to divide us, to Biden, to the Democratic Party, to AIPAC, and to elected officials everywhere who haven’t yet called for an immediate and Permanent Ceasefire: The people vote for peace.
In Rep. Omar’s 2022 primary race, AIPAC spent over $350,000 to boost her opponent’s campaign. She is a target for our opposition because, throughout her career, she has stayed steadfast in her commitment to Palestinian liberation, to peace, and to prioritizing action for our people here at home – from affordable housing and healthcare to climate action – instead of wasting our resources on weapons and war.
Make your plan to vote early to re-elect Rep. Ilhan Omar with our Busy Voter’s Guide.
TakeAction takes primaries seriously because not all Democrats are the same. The ongoing genocide in Gaza has made that especially clear. We need courageous, progressive leaders like Rep. Omar standing for our values in Minnesota and beyond.
Reply to this email, and let me know when you plan to vote for Rep. Omar.
