Today, we are thrilled to announce our next candidate of 2024: Woodson Bradley, challenger for North Carolina State Senate District 42! Democrats need one seat to keep the GOP from gaining a veto-proof supermajority, and this seat is absolutely critical in doing so.

MEET WOODSON BRADLEY
Woodson Bradley is a mom, wife, business owner, community leader, and tireless volunteer. Raised by a public school teacher and social worker, Woodson has dedicated her life to public service. As a domestic violence survivor, Woodson has advocated for families, children, and teens across NC, and currently speaks for the Mecklenburg County Domestic Violence Speakers Bureau. As a small business owner, she wants to ensure that Charlotte is a place that has opportunities for all. If Democrats are going to break the dangerous Republican supermajority in NC, Woodson must be elected in November.

WHY THIS RACE IS IMPORTANT
In 2022, Democrats were able to hold off a Republican supermajority in the NC House until a member changed parties granting the Republicans complete control of the Tarheel State. We need to win one seat in this chamber and this race is a must-win to accomplish that goal.
