Angus King

Dear John,

I know you receive over a dozen donation requests from political candidates and politicians every day; I certainly do! The constant barrage of “asks” can be exhausting so today I’ll keep this brief.

Angus proudly represents the people of Maine in the U.S. Senate. As you know, he is up for reelection NOVEMBER 5, which makes our quickly- approaching end-of-quarter deadline more important than ever.

Midnight June 30th is the FEC’s (Federal Election Commission) “End-Of-Quarter” reporting deadline. After June 30th, the amount our campaign has raised is publicly available. Meeting the deadline and reaching our fundraising goal ensures we can show our opponents how seriously Angus takes the campaign and more importantly, his duty to the people of Maine.

Can you donate just $5 or $10 to help us meet this deadline? Every dollar donated helps ensure a healthy bank account. That will be critical in helping us pay our campaign staff, print and distribute lawn signs, campaign mailers, “door-knocking” literature, and more.

Please help us keep Angus in the U.S. Senate for another term. He truly wants to continue to press the fight for reproductive freedom, voting rights, veterans’ services, climate action, and bipartisan solutions that benefit all Maine people.

As you know, Angus is an Independent. He can’t rely on donations from political parties. Support from grassroots donors like you ahead of our FEC End-of-Quarter deadline on Sunday will mean a great deal to all of us on the campaign team.

There is nothing more important to Senator King than doing right by the people of Maine. This means fighting on their behalf for the issues that matter most, whether that’s health care, national security, veterans, education, economic certainty, the environment or job creation. Throughout his decades of public service, he has worked tirelessly to build relationships and improve opportunities for all Maine people, from Kittery to Fort Kent.
