June has marked a major turning point for our campaign. We officially have an opponent, won our first debate, and now have our first FEC deadline of the general election. We need to be building momentum, but instead our fundraising has slowed down at the worst possible time.

Mitch McConnell and his super PAC allies are spending nearly $65 million to tear us down, and if our fundraising numbers look weak, they’ll take that as a sign to bury us in ads.

That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $1 million before our FEC deadline. It won’t be easy, but if we want to win this race, we have to aim high. We can’t afford to play it safe, and we can’t afford to come up short.

I need your help to win this thing, so I’m personally asking: Can I count on you to split a contribution between my campaign and Fight for Progress to send the message to Mitch McConnell and his megadonors that Montana can’t be bought?
