Last night was primary night here in Colorado, and our Republican opponent in November will officially be extremist, corporate lawyer Jeff Hurd.

Jeff Hurd wants to let extremist Republicans pass a national ban on abortion. They want the government, not women and their doctors, to make some of the most gut-wrenching medical decisions any person has to make.

Jeff Hurd was hand-picked by the Koch brothers, Speaker Mike Johnson, and their Super PACs to run against me. They’ve already spent over a million dollars for his campaign, and they’re about to spend even more attacking me to try to win this seat.

And Jeff Hurd might actually win this critical House seat. In 2022, our race was the closest in the entire country. I lost to Lauren Boebert by just 546 votes. But without Boebert’s well-known extremism to run against, this race is going to be even harder.
