Applying a set of standards for one group or nation that would be applied to no other is what both the Jewish community and Israel are constantly forced to endure. This isn't right and I'm proud to add my voice to those declaring, "enough is enough. Enough discrimination."
Republican-endorsed candidate for Minnesota House District 46A (St. Louis Park), John Nagel reflected, "It was frustrating to listen to the University of Minnesota president talk about procedures to keep students safe when obviously none of those procedures worked. All of the charges were dropped with the consent if not urging of the university. They should never have allowed pro-terrorist groups to negotiate with the school, which itself is an act of legitimization."
You'd be forgiven if you assumed the university's faculty vote of "no confidence" today was in recognition of President Ettinger's failure to provide a safe campus for Jewish students or to at least apply university rules evenly. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. They wanted him to be more anti-Israel and more anti-Jewish. Read the latest HERE.
I was joined at the hearing yesterday by some of the great rising Republican stars in Minnesota's Fifth Congressional District and beyond. They included the Ranking Member of the Judiciary Committee Senator Warren Limmer, the Chair of Congressional District 5 Republicans Alec Beck, and Republican candidates for the Minnesota State House, John Nagel (46A), Kim Rich (46B), and KT Jacobs (39B), who has been a lone warrior in her district on this issue from her position on the Columbia Heights City Council.
