Meow, John!

It’s Winkie and Dobby King here, and we’ve got a big request. Our dad is U.S. Senator Angus King (cool, we know!), and he’s facing the FEC’s end-of-quarter fundraising deadline on Sunday.

We didn’t know what the FEC was either (after all, we’re just cats), but Dad explained that FEC stands for Federal Election Commission and that everyone who runs for federal office has to file their fundraising reports through the FEC before that deadline. This is a big deal!

Dad and his team are trying to raise $30,000 before that deadline so that they can buy yard signs, door-knocking pamphlets, and supplies for the nice people who volunteer for his campaign. Can you donate just $10 towards his re-election campaign today so that he can win big in November?

Dad works so hard for the people and pets of Maine. From fighting to protect reproductive freedom to bringing federal dollars back home to Maine, he really has our best interests in mind. We really hope he can keep advocating for all creatures big and small in the U.S. Senate for another term, but he needs your help.
