Brace yourself, Taxpayer.

China’s infamous Yulin Dog Meat Festival just kicked off.

Back in 2018, Congress passed a resolution to condemn China’s barbaric dog meat
markets.

Turns out, our government was also a customer.

SIGN/SHARE: Please add your name to prohibit tax dollars funding China’s Yulin-style meat
markets!

THESE ARE THE USDA LAB'S ACTUAL RECEIPTS FOR DOG AND CAT MEAT.

White Coat Waste investigators exposed how a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture
laboratory obtained 2,182 cats and dogs from foreign wet markets.

Asian dog markets are pure hell:

* Boiled Alive: to remove fur. Dogs’ eardrums are busted to prevent barking.
* Terrified: dogs are slaughtered in front of other dogs to maximize fear.
* Torture = Taste: death is intentionally slow. They believe higher adrenaline and stress
levels tenderize the meat.

USDA imported the tongues, brains, and hearts. Chinese experimenters packed it in their carry on luggage!

Then, USDA fed it to other kittens inside a federal government laboratory.
(Those lab kittens were killed, too.)

Your tax bill? $22.5M. That makes YOU the real customer!

Please add your name to our new taxpayer petition. Demand Congress prohibit
government labs from spending another American penny on dog meat!

Of course, the feds’ shopping spree wasn’t only in China:

* 120 "unclaimed" dogs were bought in Brazil.
* 170 “unwanted” cats and 309 abandoned pet dogs were rounded up in Colombia.
* 42 dogs were purchased from farms around Vietnam.
* 58 pet cats were bought from families in Brazil.
* 36 stray cats were rounded up in Ethiopia.

Some were household pets. Some were working animals. Some were strays.

All of them deserved better, Taxpayer.

All of this was—and remains—completely legal.

And Yulin just started again!

Please take 22 seconds to demand Congress END its hypocrisy
[[link removed]] and shopping spree in China.

Thanks for your advocacy,

P.S. SIGN/SHARE: I personally adopted two cats who survived this USDA lab. Taxpayer, it would mean a lot to me if you’d sign this new petition
[[link removed]] against Yulin-style torture. Then, please share it with five people who’ll join
the fight!
